Matthew Matt James is a North Carolina native born on 5 December 1991. Matthew Matt James is a mixed-race son of Manny James (of Jamaican descendance) and Patty James. The mother of Manny James is caucasian and his father is Nigerian. When he graduated from Sanderson High School, in 2010, James enrolled in Wake Forest University and obtained his Bachelor's in Economics. James gained fame when he became a reality television participant on The Bachelorette. The Bachelor season 25 premiered in 2021. The next Bachelor was James, who became the only African American to play the leading role. James is the perfect fit to play the role because he's tall, handsome and hilarious. The show was over when he decided to choose Rachael Krkconnell to pursue an affair with the actress. James teamed up with popular dancer Arnold in 2021, to take part in season 30 of Dancing with the Stars. James and Arnold finished 12th place.
