Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actress, best known as Joan Holloway. She played the role for seven seasons of AMC's period comedy Mad Men from 2007-2015. The series has earned her critical praise as well as the show received six Emmy award nominations in the category of best support actress class. Through her career of 20 years, she became known for her role in the comedy dramatic Another Period, a crime drama titled Tin Star. Her most well-known work is her performances on Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers Prey at Night Egg, American Woman and The Neon Demon. She has also recorded her voice on animations such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! Her career began in modeling, and she continued to do it for years until her debut as a TV actor in Undressed, a 1999 television show. Her first major part in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers. After that, she was praised for the part she played on Firefly. Esquire magazine named her the most attractive woman in the world and Best-Looking American Woman for 2010.
